Off the Island: Weekend Recap- May 6

Despite the fact that this past Saturday, May 4 was Opening Night at Riverhead Raceway. Many local Long Island drivers still couldn’t get enough and decided to venture off the island in order to satisfy their need for speed. Many drivers traveled to Connecticut’s Waterford Speedbowl, Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway, New Jersey’s Wall Stadium Speedway and New York’s Bethel Motor Speedway. Two of our own scored big. Brendon Bock won the Legend event at Mountain Speedway and Brian Doyle won the Late Model event at Wall Stadium.
