Riverhead Raceway 2011 Champions Luncheon January 29

Riverhead Raceway will honor the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series
champions on Sunday afternoon January 29th with the annual Champions
Luncheon that will take place at a new venue, the Senix Creek Inn of
Center Moriches. Justin Bonsignore of Holtsville will lead the 2011 Parade
of Champions at the luncheon that will start at 12 noon.

The Senix Creek Inn is located on Senix Avenue just off the famed Great
South Bay of Long Island and over the past several seasons have sponsored
Eddie Brunnhoelzl III in the NASCAR Modified ranks at Riverhead Raceway. "
I can't thank Charlie and Judy and all the Senix Creek Inn family for
opening up their fine restaurant to us for the Champions Luncheon" Bob
Finan noted. Admission will again be free to the luncheon and feature a
casual atmosphere to which Finan added, "Senix Creek Inn features a very
cozy setting and it's a tad smaller than in the past but it's going to all
work out great thanks to Charles and Judy".

Justin Bonsignore earned his first career NASCAR Modified title at
Riverhead Raceway the hard way by commuting to and from the Long Island
quarter mile oval while chasing the NASCAR Whelen Modified title, some
weekends found the young talent having to be in two places at once,
literally! Justin's car owner Ken Massa will also be presented with his
championship hardware.

Joining Bonsignore on the 2011 Parade of Champions are Mike Bologna of
Melville (Late Models), Arne Pedersen of Mastic Beach (Figure Eights),
Chris Turbush, Riverhead (Chargers), Tommy Walkowiak (Blunderbusts), Dave
Koenig (Super Pro Trucks), Chris Young of Calverton (Legends) and James
Kilkenny of Howard Beach (Demolition Derby). Of the eight 2011 champions
at Riverhead, six enjoy their first career title, while Turbush and
Walkowiak each have earned multiple championships in their division.

The top five in each division will also each earn a trophy and the Rookie
of the Year special award will be presented in the NASCAR Modifieds, Late
Models, Figure Eights and Chargers. Best Appearing Car/Truck awards will
be presented in all but the Demolition Derby categories.
