Off the Island: Weekend Recap- Sept. 9

Many local Long Island drivers decided to venture off the island this past weekend in order to satisfy their need for speed. Some traveled to Connecticut’s Waterford Speedbowl for both their Wednesday and Saturday night events as well as New Jersey’s Wall Stadium Speedway, New York’s Bethel Motor Speedway and Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway. On Sunday, Riverhead regular Brendon Bock took home the win in the Legend feature event at Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway.
