Off the Island: Weekend Recap- Sept. 23
With the 2013 season coming to a close at Riverhead Raceway, many local Long Island drivers are venturing off the island in order to satisfy their need for speed. A few traveled to Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway, New Jersey’s Wall Stadium Speedway and Connecticut’s Waterford Speedbowl. Two of our own won big. Riverhead Raceway’s 2013 Legends Champion, Brendon Bock captured the win in the INEX Legends feature at Mountain Speedway and Brian Doyle of Ronkonkoma captured the win in the Late Model feature event at Wall Stadium Speedway.
