Off the Island: Weekend Recap- Oct. 1
With the conclusion of the 2013 season this past weekend at Riverhead Raceway, many local Long Island drivers ventured off the island in order to satisfy their need for speed. Many drivers traveled to Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway, New Jersey’s Wall Stadium Speedway, Connecticut’s Waterford Speedbowl and New York’s Bethel Motor Speedway. Two of our won big. Brian Doyle of Coram took home the win in the Late Model feature event at Wall Stadium Speedway and Riverhead Raceway regular Kyle Soper captured the win in the Legend feature at Mountain Speedway.
