Troffa Landscaping and Mason Supplies to Sponsor Legends

Riverhead Raceway INEX Legend Race Car teams received some good news just days away from the May 4th season opener when it was announced that Joseph M. Troffa Landscaping & Mason Supplies has signed on as a seasonal sponsor for the popular class. The Legend Race Cars will be just one of seven divisions in action when Barbara & Jim Cromarty open up the 2013 campaign Saturday May 4th as the NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models, Figure Eights, Chargers, Blunderbusts and Super Pro Trucks will all compete on the card that starts at 5:30 pm.

John Troffa, Vice President of Operation for Joseph Troffa Landscape & Mason Supplies noted the family owned business is excited to return as a marketing partner with Riverhead Raceway in 2013, “we are really happy to be returning to the track this season shifting our sponsorship to the Legend Race Car division this year. We just love the young talent the class has to offer and how that translates into very exciting on track action”.

Troffa Landscape & Mason Supplies is located at 70 Comsewogue Road in Setauket and John Troffa noted that their convenient state of the art giant mobile concrete mixer will again be on hand to serve as a pace vehicle prior to the start of the 20-lap Legend Race car main event.

Saturday July 27th will be the Joseph M. Troffa Landscape & Mason Supplies night for the Legend Race Cars who will be a part of one of the most exciting and family oriented cards of the 2013 season. A Full Size School Bus Demolition Derby will highlight the July 27th program as these 13-ton giants go toe to toe and that’s not all! A bone-jarring, car destroying 8-Cylinder Demolition is also set to thrill the fans, young and old alike.

The NASCAR Modifieds, Chargers, Blunderbusts and a Grand Enduro will complete this non-stop action night of racing and family fun Saturday July 27th.

Kyle Ellwood of Riverhead comes to the 2013 INEX Legend Race Car season as the defending champion but there are plenty of drivers out to dethrone the soon to be Riverhead High School graduate. Among them are, Brendon Bock of Franklin Square, Kyle Soper of Manorville, Chris Young of Calverton, Kevin Nowak of Medford, Vinny Delaney of Holtsville, Chris Rogers of Patchogue, Richie Davidowitz of Holbrook, Paul Dodorico of Miller Place, Justin Strumpf of Selden and many, many more. The Legend Race Cars led the way in weekly car counts at Riverhead Raceway in 2012 and are expected to do the same this year.

Opening weekend is all but arrived at Riverhead Raceway with the NASCAR and INEX stock cars set for battle Saturday May 4th at 5:30 pm, then on Sunday May 5th at 12:30 pm it will be a full card of Enduro racing to usher in their new race season.
