Hyde Optimistic About 2016

It’s been two years since Kenny Hyde Jr. has seen victory lane in the Figure 8 division but he’s making sure he changes that in 2016.

While there will be no major changes to the Long Island Truck and Equipment Repair No. 58, Hyde plans on having a new spotter for 2016. Vinny Biondolillo will be the eyes in the sky for Hyde come opening night.

Hyde will also have a new power supply as well coming from Randy Murray. “Things seem to be going in the right direction and I have a great feeling about this upcoming season.” Hyde said.

With the approach of the 2016 season, Hyde is dedicated to capturing another championship. “I plan on going for another Figure 8 championship,” said Hyde, “I don’t plan on doing any demos or Enduros unless there is free time to get a car ready.”

Hyde will be sponsored by Northeastern Office Equipment, All Island Towing, Kings Park Contracting, K&K Auto Transport, The Garage Auto Repair as well as Long Island Truck and Equipment Repair. He would also like to send a special thank you out to his new fiancé, Darien. “None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for her,” said Hyde.
